A serious motor vehicle accident in Nebraska left a motorcyclist in critical condition after his vehicle collided with a car at an intersection. The wreck occurred at an intersection that has a stop sign for the northbound and southbound traffic, but no stop sign for traffic traveling east or west.
The motorcyclist had no stop sign when it crashed into the side of the northbound car. An investigation has been launched into the crash, though nothing has been determined until the crash reconstruction team finishes their job.
There are a few things that we can learn from this accident, and the first is the role of investigators and crash reconstruction analysts. Before anyone should consider any legal action in the wake of a car accident, they need to wait for the results of the investigation. With the crash reconstruction and the investigation complete, the injured parties can use the information to substantiate any legal claims they may make.
Another aspect to this crash is the obvious: that a motorcycle was involved. Motorcyclists are inherently more vulnerable in accidents than almost any other vehicle. That’s why it is imperative that all drivers need to be on the lookout for motorcycles.
Motorcyclists usually suffer major injuries when they are involved in an accident. So when a negligent driver causes a motorcyclist harm, and the investigation can substantiate that driver’s negligence, the motorcyclist needs to consider legal action to help pay for the medical bills and pain and suffering that they have been wrongfully dealt.
