Kids’ Chance of Nebraska is a non-profit charitable organization providing need-based educational scholarships to children of Nebraska workers who have been fatally or seriously injured in a workplace accident. To be eligible for a Kids’ Chance scholarship, applicants must:
- Be between the ages of 16 – 25 years old.
- Have a high school diploma, GED, or a high school student in good standing (who will graduate in the current academic year).
- Be a dependent of a parent who suffered a workplace fatality or injuries that have had a significant adverse effect on family income.
The scholarship must be used for tuition (at a vocational/technical school, junior college, or for an undergraduate or graduate program), fees, or room and board expenses. For more information or to obtain a copy of the scholarship application, please visit the http://www.kidschanceofne.org.
