Nebraska residents may be saddened to learn about a recent rollover crash that claimed the life of a 35-year-old Omaha man. The accident reportedly occurred on Aug. 2 near Ashland on Interstate 80. According to law enforcement authorities, the 35-year-old man was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by a 21-year-old Omaha man. The man who died was reportedly sitting in the front seat and was wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
The 21-year-old driver and three other passengers were all injured in the accident. The four injured people were transported to Bryan Trauma Center West in Lincoln for treatment of their injuries. Reportedly, the car in which all of the people were driving crashed into the median. Police with the Nebraska State Patrol are still investigating the cause of the accident and have not released information regarding what happened as of yet.
When people are killed in motor vehicle accidents, their families may be left suffering from both unexpected financial expenses and losses as well as the grief and shock of losing their loved ones.
